Many believers experience the anointing in a church service and then wonder why it seems to fade by Monday morning. But the anointing of the Holy Spirit is not a Sunday experience — it is a daily reality for every child of God who chooses to walk in it.
The key is surrender. When we yield our day to the Lord before it begins — through prayer, through the Word, through worship — we position ourselves to carry His presence wherever we go. The anointing flows through a yielded vessel.
Scripture tells us in 1 John 2:27 that the anointing we have received abides in us. It does not leave. It is we who sometimes step out from under it through distraction, sin, or simply forgetting who we are in Christ. The invitation is always to return — to press back in, to seek His face, and to let the fresh oil flow again.
Today, I want to encourage you: you do not have to wait for Sunday. You do not have to wait for a conference or a revival meeting. The anointing is available to you right now, in your kitchen, in your car, in your quiet moments. Reach for it. Walk in it. Let it saturate everything you touch.
